Tomato blossom drop or pollinated flowers--how do you tell at the early stage?

I have 11 healthy, green tomato plants of a couple of varieties. The flowers came in great, and they're still growing. I watched for signs of pollination (bruised long hollow part of flower--the male part), and saw it on a few, but I shook the blossoms just the same.

Yesterday afternoon, all of a sudden, several of the blossoms just dried up and fell off. What was left was a very tiny, green, round ball where the flower used to be--I presume this is the ovary, right? Does this mean that the flower was pollinated, and I can expect tomatoes from these tiny green balls? Or are these simply the remnants of unfertilized flowers?

Thanks!

When them tiny green balls get big and red enjoy your tomato's. Try to let them ripen on the vine they are so much better.

That is the tomato's keep them watered they will get bigger from there. When they are nice and red harvest. You will be like me to many. Make salsa put them up hole pealed like stew tomato's for soups and stews. I like them just sliced on my plate with my supper.
Reply:The tiny green round balls are the tomatoes! In a few days you should see them growing.
Reply:This is what my tomatoes did before they grew. Keep an eye on them, they'll probably grow!
