i know part of why shes ok with it is because she can plant more flowers but is there another reason why shes ok with it

To Kill a Mockingbird when the fire at miss maudies house burns why is she ok with it?
I think its mostly because she wasn't materialistic. She knows that she will have somewhere to stay and can plant more flowers, as you said. She probably also didn't want the children to see her upset because then they would be upset.
Reply:i think that she wasnt very fond of the house and maybe she didnt want to showcase her feelings for her house because of pride.
Reply:no, there's no other reason .she's just glad she could be more in touch with nature. she is glad that she can plant more plants and floweres, like u said, and that's all there is to it.
Reply:I suspect it was insurance fraud.
