Why wont my strawberries grow?
It may be suffering from a mineral deficiency. Try changing the soil for fresh with some well-rotted compost mixed in. Mulch the plant with straw and feed it with a potassium rich organic feed from time to time.

You also need to protect the crowns in cold weather - perhaps conditions are just too cold at the moment? Again loose straw should do the trick.

Strawberry plants are only productive for three or four seasons, so if your plant is old, replace it with some new ones.
