How do you feel about abortion?

I personally am against it but I don't judge those who will (or have) been part of abortion. See, I feel that if anything can spawn into life on it's own, then destroying it is just like killing it. A regular plant seed on the concrete can't do much by itself (just like an unfertilized egg) but as soon as it's nourished properly it turns into life. It doesn't have to be a full flower to be life to me. when you see that little bit of green poking out then it's alive. All it needs is a little dirt, water, and sunshine (just like an unfertilized egg needs a sperm). Once an egg is fertilized, I see it as a form of life. So to get rid of that life is concidered murder to me. But, honestly, if I were in a situation (for some crazy reason) where I got pregnant then I'd probably seek some sort of morning after pill, which is why I cannot judge people who believe in abortion. But how do people here feel about it?

i think that if you are more then a month pregnant and the baby has started to really develop ALOT then it is wrong, you need to take responsibility for what youve done and i dont think people should take the easy way out by basically killing it.



but then again, if you cant support the child, or if you are too young and have no one else to rely on for funds and food and dipers and everything then you should definently get an abortion. why is it fair to make your child have a shitty life? its not. i think abortion is okay then because when you are older and can provide for it you can have another child.



but you know abortion is a never ending argument on weather it is right or wrong. alot of people say that if you cant take responsibility for becomming pregnant then you shouldnt be having sex. but nobody can sit here and say that they wouldnt have sex weather they are in the mood for it or weather the time came up with someone they love and wanted to just out of fear of not being responsible.. things just happen. alot of people need to take that into mind.

Reply:I personally would never get an abortion, for I feel it's wrong in a way. But I'm totally okay with other people getting one. I mean, it's their decision, and who am I to judge them? I'm pretty young, being 15, and if I were to get pregnant from being raped or something, I don't think I'd want the baby. I just hope I never have to worry about that happening.

Reply:Sometimes people need to get an abortion. Like my aunt, she got an abortion once because she just really wasn't to be a mother yet. It's sad and yes I agree, it's bad, but sometimes you have to.

I never understood why christians were against abortion, if you're born into sin then wouldnt creating a baby and then getting it aborted be like a free ticket to heaven?

Though I would never get an abortion myself, I won't judge or vote to take the right away from someone else. The way that I look at is that someone would have to be in a terrible situation to want an abortion, so there's no reason to force a child to be born into it or to be carried in the womb of a person who doesn't want or care for them.



Until a man can give birth, I will always support a woman's right to choose.
