Do you think you could remember all the stuff you were taught as a 10 yr old? All about the romans and vikings and parts of a flower and about nouns and pro nouns and proverbial sentances?????
Are you smarter than a 10 yr old?
No, i had forgotten most of it by about aged 17, but then could a ten year old remember all the stuff they had learnt at aged 3. It is not smart to retain every ounce of information you ever learnt. Smart folks can build on what they have learnt, edit out the mundane, and add to the areas they want to use. I teach 10 yr old, and I like to think that I am a bit smarter than they are, especially when they are using lame excuses to try and pull the wool over my eyes for the lack of their homework.
Reply:you are welcome - thanks for the points. Report It

Reply:There's going to be a new quiz on this topic introduced by Noel Edmonds? I won't be applying ;o(
Reply:You certainly forgot your spelling!
Reply:nobody really cares about that stuff... im 13 and i dont remember... probably because we did ancient greeks, ancient egyptians and some other junk like that...
Reply:We never not never done any of that,,,
Reply:Some information, onw would remember for a long time until or unless they do not use it frequently.
Therefore, my answer would be I do remember part of my year education, and if provoked a little, I could remember the rest too.
Reply:Yes, couldn't you ? ;-)
Reply:In general, everyone know some things that even rocket scientists don't know. You may be super smart in one specific area, but no one knows it all.
Reply:Hardly anyone can be smarter than a ten-year old kid unless he/she happens to be nine. Kids are smarter than grown-ups. Grown-ups take time catching up with kids, and by the time they catch up, there'll be newer kids to catch up with. That's what growing up/growing old is all about. We accept kids to have grown up only when they cease to be smart :D
Reply:Come on now, it was the last millennium when I was ten, so, NO CHANCE!!!!!!
Reply:Can remember a bit of it but not loads. Only things can remember off the top of my head was Romans built straight roads and some other stuff lol, vikings had those big ships, all can remember abut parts of flowers were the diagrams and that some parts were female and other parts were male and forget about the pro nouns, nouns and proverbial sentences. I need to read this stuff again.

Reply:When I was 10 I climbed a tree full of dead branches, fell and landed on the top of a chain link fence... yes, I like to think I'm smarter than a 10 year old now. :)
Reply:What I find very odd is that I don't remember people's names and certain things from the last few years, yet I CAN remember quite clearly people I went to school with (and haven't seen since), and all the things I was taught then - I thought that maybe there were just very good teachers around then - but really its the way your brain works - and long term memory stays with you more than short term memory. (Its quite useful really - I can be really naughty and not remember it the next day!! lol)
Reply:Yes, but exactly why would I need to remember useless information which I learned in the past if it's not required for my future?
Reply:Pretty much yeah... But then again it′s not so long ago.
Reply:WTF?...yes!
Reply:yea i dont see why not
