White Sky Flower science name Duranta?

is being attacked by tiny light brown things. They are making holes in my blooms which won't flower now. They look like worms with tiny legs. They are small and it looks like part of its body is in the bloom and the other part is sticking out. My poor beautiful plant is not looking good right now. I miss the beautiful fragrant flowers. Anyone know what I can spray on it to kill these nasty critters?

Occasional pests of the Durantas include nematodes, caterpillars, mites, mealybugs, whiteflies and scale insects.



use a search with images to look up each insect and see if it matches yours.... then research what controls that bug....
Reply:Not sure what the bug may be without seeing it, I would recommend putting some in a baggie and taking them to your local Master Gardener program, or Ag Extension Agent - they will be able to identify the critter and give advice for eliminating it. If you have a Botanic Garden nearby they may be able to help as well.
