Dandelion leaves would be one of the better greens to give your blue tongue lizard. Dandelions have over 103 mg of calcium per cup compared to romaine lettuce which only has about 20 mg of calcium per cup..

Just wanted to add, it will only count towards the leafy plant matter part of it's diet. It will still have to have other veggies too.

Here's a good guide to read through,

http://bluetongueskinks.net/blue.htm

they have the best greens, fruits and veggies listed out for you..

Here's more info, copied and pasted from the site listed above..

"Blue tongued skinks are omnivorous meaning they eat both plant matter and meat, and require a multifarious diet. We use our 50/40/10 system: 50% vegetables and greens, 40% meat, mice, and insects, and 10% fruits. A large portion of their diet should include fresh vegetables and greens such as kale, collard greens, mustard greens, beet greens, bokchoy, etc. You may use virtually any fruit such as figs, papaya, mango, grapes, banana, diced apple, strawberry, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries (it's fun because they have blue tongues), melons and kiwi. Meats can include cooked shredded/ground (lean) chicken, beef or turkey, different types of worms and insects, an occasional mouse, and a small amount of cat food."

Reply:the best thing is to ask a wildlife person the shouldnt be feed by humans but they love snails, make sure that they havent been near bait, and worms you can get from pet shops, good luck.
Reply:i would ask a vet or someone at a reptile shop
