How do u turn a color photo b & w then only color certain parts of a pic?

I have color wedding photos that I would like to turn into black and white and then only color lets say my flowers, or my girls' dresses or whatever else...

How do u turn a color photo b %26amp; w then only color certain parts of a pic?
to save copy as b%26amp;w, convert image to grayscale,

and save a copy to use,



if you have something like photoshop,

you can use layers,

one layer b%26amp;w

the next copy each object you want coloured,

then select those layers in order

and save copy as new image,



if not, may have to save several copies of image

select areas to copy from and paste to b%26amp;w
